I will be attending the 2016 Blog Life University Conference, held in Atlanta from July 20^th-23^rd at the Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta- Marietta. This is the premier conference for ALL Bloggers. Whether you’re new or experienced, a parenting blogger, craft blogger, food blogger, lifestyle blogger, super shy, or something in between, you will find a supportive and talented group that can help take your blog to the next level. I have to admit, although I’ve been to countless conferences while working in higher education, I’ve never taken my writing seriously enough to consider attending a conference dedicated to blogging…until now.

Why attend blogging conferences?

It’s a legitimate and important question to ask for both new and experienced bloggers, given that there is much technology and free information on the internet. More importantly, the costs associated with attending, including travel, lodging, and conference registration, not to mention the investment of time, make the decision to attend a significant one.

While specific criteria for attending specific conferences can vary, I will share 10 reasons why you should commit to attending one or more conferences related to blogging if you want to improve your relationships with brands, writing quality, and overall engagement.
